About Me

I’m Tom Shaw - a poet and writer drawing on 23 years and counting of incredibly varied experiences of life, including almost becoming a dentist, programming and game design, musical escapades and much more. When I’m not working on Over To The Youth, you’ll find me writing pieces for this Substack, aimed at shifting our current culture towards a more harmonious, soulful and meaningful state.

Here’s how my Substack is currently set up:

  • Poems - where I post my poems as they’re released.

  • Born Anew - this is my poetry book!

  • Weekly Newsletter - I send out a Weekly Newsletter with updates for everything in the week, plus a poem from elsewhere that I found meaningful.

  • Essays and Other Writings - any non-poem pieces, including articles and essays, go here. This includes an archive of all things I worked on for Over To The Youth.

  • Conversations - Podcasts and interviews I do with others, or that others do with me!

PLEASE NOTE: These sections do not open in the Substack app. I am hoping Substack fixes this major issue soon, but in the meantime, please open these links in a web browser if you're viewing on mobile.

I also have a separate but interlinked Substack for my ongoing Metropolis re-translation, which you can use the button below to navigate to:

For those who are already paid subscribers please see below on how to access your benefits.

I also offer opportunities for those able to give their time as opposed to money to access my paid subscriber benefits through referring others to my work. Take a look at the Leaderboard to find out more.
