Loved the poem! As someone living in the the Netherlands, I can really relate—it’s like a breakup, leaving an abusive relationship. Lately I’ve come to realize that home isn’t a set place but rather a state of being, shaped by the people and things you surround yourself with. Thank you for sharing :)
Great poem Tom. I can see you developing more poems in a similar vein (if the spirit is willing) especially since you have fond memories and experiences there. Here in the States I have a sense of something lifting, a cautionary optimism about my country’s future. However I too am well aware of the WEF’s agendas and how they insinuate themselves into our society. So we’ll see what happens. In the meantime, much success to you and safe travels. If you have any advice you can share about being a digital nomad I’m all ears (you can DM me if preferable).
I'm curious to see what happens with the States in the next few years, for sure. Thank you for the kind words, and I'll be sure to continue sharing my experiences wuth you!
Well done for following what's right for you rather than just going along with a eiocre way of livin. You'll have to let us know how it goes as I am also seriously tempted to quit this country if it won't let me realize my dreams. Is it true quality of life is better at a lower cost too?

I agree - home is the place I hold within me and create around me. Glad you liked it!
